ABOUT ME

Di ErringtonI was given my first pack of tarot cards as a teenager. It was an old Marseilles deck with faded packaging advertising it as a fortune-telling game. Intriguing, mystifying, compelling, a bit scary, I was hooked as soon as I saw it.... That was the beginning of my relationship with tarot.

You can read more about my philosophy of tarot from my page Your Tarot  Reading. I have been working with the cards on a personal level for 35 years now, and became a professional tarot reader in May 2008.

I am fascinated by myths, symbols and legends and hold an MA degree in English Literature. I am also passionately interested in humankind's spiritual nature, in the 'big' questions of life and death, in what might be the meaning and purpose of our existence, and what I would broadly call the 'religious' aspect of what it is to be human.

I hold a BD (Bachelor of Divinity) degree from Edinburgh University. I worked as a secondary school teacher for many years and am currently studying for a postgraduate degree at the University of Kent.
